This scheme has been started with the aim of providing free training to artisans and craftsmen and providing necessary financial assistance to purchase toolkits so that artisans and craftsmen can easily earn a livelihood through their talent.
Under this scheme, financial assistance of ₹ 500 per day during training and loan up to ₹ 300000 will also be provided to artisans and craftsmen so that they can start self-employment and become self-reliant.

Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Yojana 2024
Under the PM Vishwakarma Yojana, the government will provide free training for craftsmanship and craftsmanship to candidates coming from more than 140 castes of Vishwakarma community and also financial assistance of ₹ 15000 will be given for the necessary equipment.
Along with this, during the training, the government will allocate financial assistance of ₹ 500 per day to the craftsmen and artisans. This scheme hopes to enable them to earn a livelihood by enhancing the talent of the artisans and craftsmen and providing them with toolkits.
Under this scheme, the government is also ready to provide a loan of up to ₹ 300000 to the beneficiaries at an interest rate of just 5% so that they can start employment. This loan will be available to the beneficiaries in two phases where in the first phase the beneficiaries will be given a loan of ₹ 100000, and on return which they will get a loan of ₹ 200000 in the second phase.

- Permanent residents of India are free to apply to avail the benefits of this scheme.
- The benefit will be given to artisans and craftsmen coming from the Vishwakarma community.
- Artisans and craftsmen associated with 18 traditional occupations have been included under the scheme.
- This scheme targets artisans and craftsmen aged 18 years or above.
- Only one artisan or craftsman from a family can avail the benefits of the scheme.
- This benefit will be available to persons below the poverty line who do not have employment.

How can you apply under Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Yojana 2024?
- First of all visit PM Vishwakarma Registration Portal.
- The home page will appear in front of you, click on the option “Apply/Register” given here.
- Then you will reach the new page, click on the option “CSC Login” given here.
- Now log in by entering the required credentials.
- After logging in, complete the OTP verification process by entering mobile number or UID number on the next page.
- After OTP verification, the application form of the scheme will open on your device screen, enter the necessary information in it following the guidelines.
- Then upload the self-attested scanned copy of important documents.
- Finally, after checking the details filled in the form, click on the “Submit” button and submit the form.
- Then in the next step, you can get your certificate by clicking on the “PM Vishwakarma Certificate Get” link.
- Now in this certificate, you will get a Vishwakarma Digital ID.
- After this, you will log in to the portal again.
- Then an application form will open in front of you in which you have to fill in the information properly and submit it.
- In this way, the application process for this scheme will be completed successfully.
